NEWCASTLE Basketball is pleased to announce a two-year partnership with Peoplecare Health Insurance.
Peoplecare Health Insurance will sponsor our junior referee program and take on naming rights of Court One at Newcastle Basketball Stadium.
The two-year sponsorship will help raise the profile of our junior referees, who play an important role in our game while doing a sometimes-thankless job.
“We’re really excited to have Peoplecare associated with another regional basketball association,” Newcastle Basketball Referees Development Manager Alison Ross said.
“It’s great that they can see the benefit of being integrated into our Falcons basketball community.”
The second part of the Peoplecare Health Insurance sponsorship is naming rights of Court One.
“As well as supporting our junior referee program, it’s exciting to see Peoplecare on board with us as a naming-rights court sponsor. We can’t wait to see games played on Peoplecare Health Insurance Court,” Newcastle Basketball Business Development Manager Joanne Gardiner said.
“We hope this is the first of many such sponsorships, and we look forward to other local businesses partnering with us to put their name to our other courts at Newcastle Basketball Stadium.”
Established in 1952, Peoplecare Health Insurance is proud to be part of Members Health Fund Alliance, the peak industry body for not-for-profit health funds that all share a common value of putting members’ health before profit.
