Jump into Newcastle's premium junior basketball with our Winter Club Competition.
Our competition offers players from Under 10’s right through to Under 18’s the chance to develop their skills, make new friends and experience the thrill of game day. Whether you’re new to basketball or you’ve been playing for a while, this is your club level pathway into the sport.
Teams will play through a season of matchups, supported by experienced coaches and enthusiastic volunteers. With regular games, structured training and a supportive club culture, it’s the perfect environment to grow your confidence, improve your game and belong to something bigger.

At our museum, we strive to provide an enriching and immersive experience for all visitors. Whether you’re an art enthusiast or a curious explorer, we welcome you to step into a world of wonder. Our museum is open during regular hours, and tickets can be purchased online or at the entrance. We recommend checking our website for any updates on special exhibitions or events. Once inside, you’ll have the opportunity to marvel at our captivating exhibits, engage with interactive displays, and indulge in the beauty of art and culture. Our knowledgeable staff is available to assist you and ensure your visit is both enjoyable and educational.
Any player aged 8 to 17 in the calendar year is welcome to participate. Whether you’re brand new to the sport or already dribbling your way around the court, there’s a place for you.
Expect a full season of games (typically during the winter school terms), plus at least one weekly training session. The emphasis is on having fun, improving skills and playing as part of a team.
